• Significant disparities in living standards and development levels between regions, particularly in ethnic minority areas.
• Ineffective communication and mobilization of ethnic minorities, religious dignitaries, and followers to participate in socio-economic development and maintain security and order in some localities.

Solutions to Enhance the Effectiveness of Ethnic and Religious Policies

To further enhance the effectiveness of the Party and State’s policies on ethnic and religious affairs, it is necessary to focus on the following key solutions:

• Continuing to improve the legal framework and policies on ethnic and religious affairs.
• Strengthening communication and education to raise awareness among officials, Party members, and the public about the importance of ethnic and religious affairs.
• Promoting socio-economic development, poverty reduction, and improving the material and spiritual lives of ethnic minorities.
• Focusing on training and developing ethnic minority cadres and civil servants, as well as officials working in ethnic and religious affairs.
• Strengthening external relations on ethnic and religious affairs, contributing to enhancing Vietnam’s prestige and standing in the international arena.
